A Celebrant is a person who conducts a celebration! They are recognized as legal officiates at weddings, and are authorized to conduct memorials and other ceremonial functions.
The Humanist Society has certified the following members of the Humanist Community in Silicon Valley to perform marriage, child naming(“baptisim”), memorial(“funeral”) and invocation ceremonies. The Society is part of the American Humanist Association with offices at 1777 “T” St NW Washington, DC.
