Sentientism is the moral view that all sentient beings have rights and interests that must be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Amy Halpern-Laff will present the scientific and humanistic basis for this stand.<\/p>\n<p>Amy is the policy and External Relations Director with the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition and has held leadership roles in organizations promoting education equity, criminal justice reform, and civic engagement.
