Christopher, who died in 2011, describes his experiences and impressions of Iraq under Saddam Husssein, North Korea under Kim Jong-il, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.<\/p>\n<p>Acclaimed writer and political scholar Hitchens may just be the only writer to have recently visited Iran, Iraq and North Korea.
