Frankfurt, 2005, Princeton University Press &#8211; Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Princeton.<\/p>\n<p>We will explore such concepts as:<\/p>\n<p>What is BS?<br \/>\nWhy is there so much of it?<br \/>\nWhat is the Difference between BS and a Lie?<br \/>\nWhat is a BS Artist?<br \/>\nWhat do the New Ideas of Modern Psychology have to contribute?<\/p>\n<p>As such, this presentation will focus on some of the major concepts discussed in Frankfurt\u2019s Book. These ideas will be combined with those of modern psychological knowledge and how it operates to enhance, and even contribute to the BS found all around us. These ideas can illustrate how most, if not all, of us contribute to the pool of BS in the World.<\/p>\n<p>Bio:<\/p>\n<p>This presentation will be given by Carl Angotti, a longtime member of the Humanist Community. He is trained and worked as an Electronic Engineering Product Development Consultant in Silicon Valley for many years. He holds an BS from Carnegie-Mellon University and MS from USC in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA in Business from SJSU.
